2 3-Set Sweeps Nice Way to Bounce Back

After losing 3 straight district games, the Lady Panthers were slipping out of playoff contention. They, however, responded well to Coach Philips and bounced right back into the thick of the UIL playoffs with 2 wins this week. Last Tuesday, Oct 14, the Lady Panthers hosted the Lady Elks of Evant. The first set was close but Gorman pulled away late to take a 25-22 win and go up 1 set to 0. The home team kept the momentum up with a 25-15 set 2 win. One set win away from the victory, the Lady Panthers kept the pressure on the Lady Elks and won set 3, 25-16.
