Elks Score Last 14 Points to Win by 4

Rising Star quarterback Ben Boucher had his hand in 7 touchdowns for the Rising Star Wildcats this past Friday evening in a losing effort against the home team Evant Elks. The Elks were able to come from behind in the last quarter with a late touchdown to squeak past the Wildcats 54-50. Down 14-6 after the first quarter, the Wildcats scored 32 points in a wild and wooly 2nd quarter which saw both teams put up a total of 52 points. Boucher began the frenzy with a 15-yard pass to Tommy Gann which brought the Wildcats to within 2 at 14- 12. Evant returned the ensuing kickoff 45 yards to increase their lead to 20-12.
