City, RS Police Department Began Crack Down On Drugs Within Rising Star

Rising Star, Texas – Approximately six months ago, the City of Rising Star and the Rising Star Police Department began an extensive crack down on drug possession and distribution of drugs within the City of Rising Star, Operation Brighter Star, with assistance from the 91st District Court Crime Interdiction Task Force. Since Operation Brighter Star began, there have been, to date, twelve (12) arrests pertaining to drug charges and related activities, under the direction of Chief Randall Lain.
