Comptroller Distributes $732 Million in Sales Tax Revenue

Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar announced he will send cities, counties, transit systems and special purpose taxing districts $731.7 million in local sales tax allocations for November, 1.2 percent more than in November 2014. These allocations are based on sales made in September by businesses that report tax monthly, and sales made in July, August, and September by businesses that report tax quarterly.
