After months of political unrest, fear and turmoil, these were the comments heard from many who attended the Eastland Siebert Elementary Veterans Day Tribute Friday morning. Scads of scrubbed, bright-faced, talented youngsters put on a performance that brought tears of pride and miles of smiles of gratitude to the many veterans and guests in the giant packed auditorium.
