It was a bitter-sweet event as Eastland County Today Newspaper hosted a retirement reception for Officer Frank Saylors. Following 27 years of service with the Eastland Police Department, Saylors retired in February of this year. His career as a law enforcement officer spanned a total of 34 years. In honor of Saylors service, County Judge, Rex Fields Proclaimed May 20th as “Frank Saylors
Day!”
