Exciting New Facility ‘Under the Dome

By Jason WalstonAn exciting new building is fl-nally under flnishing touches in the Eastland community behind Siebert Elementary School.  The dome, as many would call it, is ac-tually referred to as a safe room and can withstand tornadic winds.  The emergency capacity of the shelter is 1600 people and on a normal day caps out at 400 people.The interior of the building is designed as a gymnasium and class-rooms.  Inside the dome there are 2 very large classrooms, one for mu-sic and arts the other for the early childhood students.
