Star Pride Announces 1st 2017 Fundraiser April 1 - No April Fools Joke!

The first 2017 fundraiser for STAR PRIDE has been announced by Barbara Medley, President of the group. A bake sale will be held on Saturday, April 1, in front of the grocery store(during the monthly OPEN AIR DOWNTOWN MARKET) with various "goodies" available for sale to the local/area residents who support Star Pride's efforts to accomplish projects which will improve Rising Star.

Come early for best choice as the sale starts at 8:00 AM and usually sells out before Noon; members promise a few "special treats" but won't disclose exactly what the baked goods will be until Saturday.
