Star Pride Schedules Oct. 4 Bake Sale Fundraiser To “Light Up Rising Star” In December

According to STAR PRIDE President, Barbara Medley, the October 4, 2014 bake sale during the DOWNTOWN OPEN AIR MARKET will be a fundraiser for the group’s annual decoration plans to “Light up Rising Star.” At their recent meeting at the library, members voted to have their “Biggest and Best” bake sale on October 4, 2014, in front of STAR GROCERY from 8:00 AM until sell-out. The group’s next meetingwill be on Thursday, October 16, at 4:00 pm at the library to plan in detail their decorating plans for Downtown Rising Star, which will be finished by Thanksgiving Day, November 27.
