To help consumers make informed decisions about their healthcare, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has developed Patient Satisfaction and an Overall Hospital Quality Star Rating System that reflects comprehensive quality information about the care provided by hospitals across the nation. Locally, Eastland Memorial Hospital is celebrating a high rating of five stars for patient satisfaction and four stars overall.
