Campfire Tales and Star Gazing At Fort Griffin

On Saturday, June 28th Fort Griffin State Historic Site will be providing several fun and educational programs for the entire family. In the morning, there will be a guided fort tour at 10 a.m. The monthly fort tour is a great opportunity to hear stories of legends and outlaws of the Wild West, while gaining a fun dose of military life in the 1870’s. In the afternoon there will be a program on the Texas longhorn and an opportunity for visitors to get an up-close view of some of the animals from the official State of Texas Longhorn herd.
