Eastland Outlasts Clyde In 3 OT

The Eastland Mavericks took their fans on an emotional roller coaster Friday evening against the Clyde Bulldogs in Clyde. It took 3 overtime periods to decide the victor, and then if it were not for Steven Heinzman stepping in front of a Bulldogs’ attempt at a two-point conversion in the third overtime, the two teams might have been playing into the wee hours of Friday morning. Nonetheless, the Mavs left Clyde with a thrilling 64-62 victory in an all-out battle.
