“Male Athlete of the Year”

There are many wonderful male athletes in our county and area. The student-athletes in our communities often have to pull double, triple, or quadruple duties whereas other student-athletes in some of the larger communities have the luxury of focusing on 1 or maybe 2 sports. Merit for this award is based on a yearly compilation of athletic achievements. However, there are times when specific individual effort outweighs the yearly summary. In this year’s case, both his yearly achievements are outstanding and his individual efforts at the State Track meet were extraordinary. This year’s award goes to Cisco High School’s Taylor Massey.
