“Female Athlete of the Year”

There are many wonderful female athletes in our county and area. The student-athletes in our communities often have to pull double, triple, or quadruple duties whereas other student-athletes in some of the larger communities have the luxury of focusing on 1 or maybe 2 sports. This award has evolved into the athlete who has the best year in one sport or all-around. There was quite the debate concerning this award with two or three vying for the award. The staff was surveyed as well as other sports related individuals in our community to help choose this year’s winner.
