Jim Ned Pressure Too Much for Lady Mavs

The young Lady Mavs squad hung with the powerhouse Jim Ned Lady Indians for 2 quarters, down only 4 at the half, 18-14.  But the depth, pressure and size of the more experienced Lady Indians got the best of the Lady Mavs in the second half.  Jim Ned scored the first 6 points in the third quarter and then didn't allow the Lady Mavs' point in the fourth quarter until about 2 1/2 minutes left in the game.  Jim Ned advances to the Regional round of the playoffs with a 51-28 victory over the Lady Mavs.  With just one senior, the Lady Mavs will build on the playoff experience of the last two years and continue to get better.  Hailee Stacy led the team with 11 points and Lea Thompson added 9 for the Lady Mavs.
