Rising Star’s Economic Development Corporation will sponsor the Downtown Open Air Market on Saturday, October 4, 2014 from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm. This monthly open air market will soon celebrate its two year anniversary of drawing customers from not only the local area but some from other parts of Texas and surrounding states. Vendors will set up their wares on Downtown Main Street and local stores and businesses will be open, some with special sale items to tempt customers to see “what’s new” in their retail establishments.
