Rising Star Clean Up Continued

As mentioned previously, beginning in June, the City of Rising Star will be actively enforcing ordinances pertaining to all areas of cleanup in an effort to help create a bigger, brighter Rising Star. Several people have asked about tall grass and weeds and what the ordinance says about them. Here’s what the ordinance says under Article II Section 14 Maximum Growth, “It shall be unlawful for any person who shall own or occupy any lot or lots in the City to allow weeds and/or grass to grow on such lot or lots to a height of more than twelve (12) inches.
