Mustang Event Leads To New Home For Adoptee

Robby and Connie Harding, Paula and Jim Carpenter traveled to Fort Worth this past weekend for the Extreme Mustang Makeover which was held at the Will Rogers Equestrian Center. Trainers from all over the country were competing in the annual wild horse training event, and they showed mustangs that they had trained for 100 days. All these mustangs were available for adoption on Saturday. The show culminated Saturday evening as 10 finalists showed their horses. “It was a wonderful exhibition, and there were standing ovations throughout the program,” Connie Harding said. Trainers competed for prizes, and Mustangs in this competition sold for $1,000 to $14,500.
