Ranger High School UIL Team Place, Advance In District Academic Contest

The Ranger High School UIL Academic team traveled to Goldthwaite, TX on March 24 and 26, 2014 to compete in the District 15A academic contest. Over 20 students competed in various different events such as accounting, calculator, computer applications, computer science, journalism, literary criticism, math, number sense, science, and spelling. Other schools that participated in the event were DeLeon, Goldthwaite, Hico, Meridian, Poolville, Perrin-Whitt, San Saba, Santo, and Valley Mills. Several students placed and will be advancing to the Regional academic contest which will be held at ACU in Abilene, TX on May 3, 2014.
