Public Invited to Dedication of Gorman Landing Zone

Comanche Electric Cooperative, the City of Gorman, and the Gorman VFD invite the public to a reception and dedication of the newly constructed air ambulance landing zone in Gorman. Located in the city park, the landing zone will serve Gorman and the surrounding areas in times of emergency. Land for the project was donated by the city, and the helipad was built with funds raised by the fire department and matched by Comanche Electric Cooperative.

The reception and dedication will be held on Wednesday, July 30th, from 10:00 am to noon at the Gorman City Hall. Air Evac Lifeteam will have an air ambulance available, as well as a representative from their company to answer any questions about their service.
