Maverick Boys’ Golf Wins Back-to-Back District Titles

As announced last week on the front page of Sports, the Eastland Maverick boys’ golf team won the District 7 2A title for the 2nd straight year. The team shot a 2-day total of 679, 41 strokes better than the 2nd place school, Clyde. Blake Patton finished 2nd overall with a 2nd day score of 73 and a two-day total of 154.
