   EASTLAND – Nell Alldredge, 93 of Eastland, passed away Monday, May 9, 2016 in Ranger.  Services will be 2 p.m. Friday, May 13, 2016  at the Daugherty St. Church of Christ.  Burial will follow in the Gorman Cemetery. 

The family will receive friends at Edwards Funeral Home on Thursday, 6~8 p.m.             

     Mrs. Alldredge was born one of nine children on March 22, 1923 in Gorman to George David Hallmark and Ozy Leslie Eison Hallmark.  She married Arlin L. Alldredge on June 7, 1941 in Gorman.  They moved to Eastland in

1961 where she was a member of the Daugherty St. Church of Christ.  She was a dietician at every nursing home in Eastland County between 1972 and 1989 as well as Siebert Elementary School in Eastland.  She was a wonderful

cook, especially her pies, and enjoyed crocheting, and spending time with her family.  Mr. Alldredge preceded her in death on September 20, 2001.  She was also preceded in death by brothers, Bob Hallmark; Thomas Hallmark,

Bid Hallmark, and Horace Hallmark; sisters, Wilma Cagle, and Deane Reynolds; and a grandson, Brian Christopher Yancey.

     Survivors include a son, Eddie Alldredge & wife Madonna; 3 daughters, Pat Pockrus, Judy Layfield, and Sandra Barnes & husband Bruce; 2 sisters, Joy Rogers, and Sue Burrows; grandchildren, Lea Diaz & husband William,

Eric Alldredge & wife Sarah, Angela Underwood & fiancé Dannie Fossett, Ana Alldredge, Shane Pockrus, John Yancey, Suzanne Parker & husband Doug, Amber Barnes & husband Joey, Sarah Mundy & husband Matt, and

Colt Barnes & wife Cheryl; as well as many great & great-great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
