Michael Wade Garrison

   Michael Wade Garrison 63, of Eastland, went home to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, March 6, 2016 in Abilene Regional Hospital. 

   Mike was born on September 16, 1952 to Virgil W. Garrison and Katherine Bromagen Garrison, in Lexington Kentucky, but remained forever grateful to his stepmother whom raised him,

Cora Garrison. Mike enlisted in the United States Army in 1970 and spent time in Germany and various parts of the world at the service of our country. After the army, Mike was a materials

manager for TXU for over 20 years. On September 20, 1999, Mike married the love of his life, Patti Garrison. Mike enjoyed his time being surrounded by family, hunting, fishing,

was also a big fan of the Kentucky Wildcats, and a member of the Eastland Rifle and Pistol Club for many years. 

   Mike is survived by his wife, Patti Garrison, was a loving father to nine children, as well as many grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and loving aunts and uncles. 

He is also survived by his sister, Frankie Garrison of Cheynee, Wyoming and sister Sherry Black of Lexington, Kentucky. 

   The viewing for Mike will be at Kimbrough Funeral home Friday, March 11 from 5-7, following graveside services will take place the following Saturday, March 12th at Bear Springs

Cemetery, located outside of Carbon, at 11.
