Mabel Lillian Perez , age 86, passed away Sunday, February 22, 2015 at her home in Gorman. Services were held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2014 at the Higginbotham Funeral Home Chapel with Denver Rainey officiating. Burial will follow in the Gorman Cemetery. Mrs. Perez was born in Halstad, MN on June 1, 1928 to Andrew Aanenson and Hannah (Johnson) Aanenson. She married Lorenzo F. Perez on March 15, 1948 in Halstad, MN. He preceded her in death on September 8, 1997. She was a homemaker and a Lutheran. She is survived by four sons, Lawrence Perez, Sam Perez, John Perez and Michiel Perez
all of Gorman; five daughters, Linda Estes of Sanger, Francis Rivers of Eastland, Alice Rainey of Gorman, Victoria Perez of Ranger and Mary Griffin of Carbon; 26 grandchildren, 50 great grandchildren and several
great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters and two brothers, daughterin- law and granddaughterin- law. Visitation was held from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
