Ilva Coker Dudley Obituary

  Ilva (Coker) Dudley, age 83, of Coleman, formerly of Rising Star passed away on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 in Abilene.  

  Services will be  Saturday, November 29, 2014 at the Higgibotham Chapel in Cross Plains with Greg Biggs officiating and assisted by Howard Stovall; burial following in the Romney Cemetery in Eastland County.  Visitation will be  Friday, November 28th at the funeral home from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m.

   She was born on June 4, 1931 in Terry County, TX to Thalmer and Florence (Duncan) Coker.  Ilva married Billie F. Dudley on May 14, 1951 in Clovis, NM. They celebrated 63 years of marriage this past May. She was a homemaker and a Methodist.

    She is survived by her husband, Bill Dudley of Coleman, sister, Mary Armstrong of Maud, TX; several nieces, nephews as well as several cousins.
