Edward Dale Johnson Obituary

 Edward Dale Johnson, age 63 of Gorman, passed away, Friday, April 15, 2016 at his home in Gorman.

   Service was held at 4:00 P.M. Sunday evening, April 17th at the Higginbotham  Funeral Home Chapel with Denver Rainey officiating. 

Burial was in Oaklawn Cemetery.

   Dale was born January 30, 1953 in Gorman, Texas to Edward Raymond Johnson and Ida Faye (Noth) Johnson.  He had worked as a truck driver. 

He was a member of the First Baptist Church.

   Dale is survived by two daughters, Shelia Gibbs of Gorman and Meranda Gibson of May; son, Roger Johnson of Carbon; brother, Jimmy Johnson of

California; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.  

   He was preceded in death by his parents.
