Bonnie Louise Scitern Obituary

  Bonnie Louise Scitern, age 90 of Gorman, passed away, Friday July 10, 2015 at Hendrick Health System in Abilene.

   Graveside service will be 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at Simpson Cemetery with Richard Watson officiating.  

   Bonnie was born June 27, 1925 in Ralls, Texas to James Earnest Daniels and Lela Pearl (Clement) Daniels.  She  married Alvis Scitern on November 23, 1941 in Gorman, Texas.  He preceded her in death on August 29, 2011.

   She is survived by one son, Glenn Scitern and wife, Kathy of Eastland; two daughters, Melva Jordan of Eastland and LaVeda Scitern of Gorman; two sisters, Dorothy Goates of Cisco and Frances Skaggs of Mankato, MN; eleven grandchildren, twenty-seven great grandchildren and thirteen great-great grandchildren. 

   She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Gerald Scitern, grandson, Allen Scitern, four brothers and one sister.
