Panthers Hold Off Trojans For Regional Semifinal Birth

Dakota Pacheco hurled a four-hitter and struck out 12, while Sheldon Fenley’s 2 RBIs lifted the Gorman Panthers to a 4-3 victory over the Windthorst Trojans in a one-game playoff Friday at Pratt Field for a birth into the Region 2-1A semifinals. Gorman (13-5) advances to play the Dawson Bulldogs on Friday evening at 7:30 pm in a 1-game series at Glen Rose HS. Windthorst ends its season at 24-10.
