Pacheco’s 16 K’s Lead Gorman Over Chico

The Gorman Panthers battled against the Chico Dragons this past Friday evening for the Area Championship in 1A Division 2 Region 2. What ensued was a good pitcher’s duel, led by Gorman’s ace, Dakota Pacheco. Pacheco struck out 16 over 8 complete innings, giving up only 3 hits and allowing no walks. The Panthers were able to defeat the Dragons 2- 1 to move on to the Regional Quarterfinals.
