Erath County Man Sentenced To Eight Years For Cattle Crimes

Stephenville, Texas – Richard Theron Talley, 47, Santon, was sentenced to eight years in prison Tuesday by an Erath County judge after he was convicted of one count of misapplication of fiduciary property. According to Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association Special Ranger Wayne Goodman, Talley was charged in December 2013 after he mortgaged cattle that belonged to his employer.
