The Eastland Independent School District Board of Trustees held their monthly meeting on Monday, June 9th. During regular session, Siebert Elementary Principal, Mary Jones presented Board Members with a Playground proposal. The proposal calls for work to be completed in three Phases. Phase I of the project will come at a cost of approximately $51,000 and will include the purchase of prefabricated playground equipment. Phase II will include the remainder of equipment, and Phase III will include the purchase of rubberized mats for surfaces throughout the playground.
