There was a mixture of applause and cheers as Mayor Emery announced the balance of the aged bill listed at $14,515.17. In just one year, the original amount of $256,000.00 has had the amount of
$241,000.00 plus, paid against it. Mayor Emery said, “Once we get our finances taken care of, we will be able to take care of some things that we have not been able to before now. This makes for a very Happy, One Year Anniversary for all of us on the Council and the citizens of our town.”
