Gorman Gets Past Windthorst, 4-3 In Regional Quarterfinal

The Gorman Panthers and Windthorst Trojans battled last night in the 1A Region 1 quarterfinals for the third consecutive year.   This time, Gorman got 3 runs in the first and 1 in the 3rd to defeat the Trojans by 1, 4-3.  Dakota Pacheco hurled a four-hitter and struck out 12, while Sheldon Fenley's 2 RBIs lifted the Panthers to victory over the Trojans in a one-game playoff Friday night at Pratt Field in Mineral Wells.
