Hill Country Chapter met in Stephenville and were entertained at their April program by Sons of the Republic member and Texas historian, Randy Billingsley. Randy dresses in 1830s attire of buckskin, palmetto hat, guns and Bowie knife. He is the greatgreat grandson of Capt. Jesse Billingsley who fought along side Commander Sam Houston in the Battle of San Jacinto when Texians were victorious over Santa Anna in 1836 gaining liberty from Mexico.
