Brenda Rae Hendrix Obituary

   SWEETWATER- Brenda Rae Hendrix, 59, died  Saturday, January 14, 2017 at Rolling Plains  Memorial Hospital. 

   Service will be Friday, January 20, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Texas State Veterans Cemetery with Rev. Tom Fraley officiating.

Interment will follow at Texas State Veterans Cemetery. McCoy Funeral Home of Sweetwater in charge of the arrangements.

Pallbearers will be Lance Wells, Jarod Wells, J.D. Hopper, Gene Hendrix, Robby Wells, Doyle Wells. 

   Brenda was born to Derwood and Linda Wells on August 15, 1957 in Odessa, Texas. She was a woman of many talents.

She served in the United States Army. She loved God, her family and the Dallas Cowboys. Brenda always gave more than she got and

anyone that knew her loved her. She was a member of Cornerstone Church of Sweetwater, Texas.   

   Brenda married Billy Joe Hendrix on May 8, 2012 in Ranger, Texas. 

  Survivors are her husband, Billy Joe Hendrix of Sweetwater; son, Brian Wells; stepsons, Kody Hendrix and Jason Hendrix; 9 grandchildren;

3 great-grandchildren; brothers, Doyle Wells, Mike Wells, and Alan Wells; sister, Terri Jennings; brothers-in-law, Gene Hendrix and Sammy Hendrix.
