CERRG Leadership at the State Capitol Introduced to ‘State Government in Action’

The CERRG Leadership Class of 2016-2017 (Eastland County participants from Cisco, Eastland, Ranger, Rising Star, Gorman) met for their third session last week at the State Capitol. “State Government in Action” was the theme for the day. The leadership group toured the House and Senate chambers. Rep. Jim Keffer’s Chief of Staff Adam Haynes provided an overview of how the House of Representatives functions and gave a personal tour of the Governor’s Office where legislation is signed into law.
