Lady Panthers Finish Season Undefeated In District
The Gorman Lady Panthers traveled to Ranger for round 2 of the district 9-A show down. With the loss to the Lady Bulldogs last year knocking them out of first, the Lady Panthers were on a mission to make sure this didn’t happen again. In the second inning the Lady Panthers were led off by Kinsey Johnston with a single and would later be scored by Vanessa Longoria who hit a stand up double. Longoria will be scored by a base hit by Jacquelynn Rainey. The Lady Panther defense picked up right where they left off and didn’t allow a run in the second. In the third inning Haley Majors would lead the lady panthers off with a single and score by a triple hit by Melissa Ramirez. With Ramirez standing on third Kisha Hampton rips a single to score her.
