Marcelene "Lena" Brown Obituary
EASTLAND- Marcelene “Lena” Brown, 77, of Eastland entered heaven Sunday, August 21, 2016.
Services will be 11 AM Wednesday, August 24th at Oakwood Cemetery in Cisco. A visitation was held from 6-8 PM
Tuesday, August 23rd at Edwards Funeral Home in Eastland.
Lena was born to E.J. Sparkman and Alma Lorene Sparkman on June 23, 1939 in Brownwood, Texas.
She attended Scranton High School. Lena was retired and a longtime resident of Eastland, Texas.
She had a love of Elvis, cooking, the color purple, and her precious grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Lena is survived by two sons, Paul Brown & wife Carita and Chris Brown & wife Kim;
daughter, Pam Brown & significant other Robert Struck; brother, Bobby Joe Sparkman
& wife Dale; 10 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Sue Clements.
