Mavs Pound The Paint For Bi-District Title

A trio of Eastland Maverick big men pounded the paint in the third quarter, enabling the Mavs to make up a 3 point deficit and take a 6 point lead into the fourth quarter. The Mavs sustained the lead throughout the fourth quarter and took the Bi-District Championship with a 40-32 victory over the Comanche Indians. Both teams seemed to have a little playoff jitters in the first quarter with each side missing easy shots. Comanche held a small 9-6 lead after the first quarter.
