The Rising Star Chamber of Commerce will be hosting their 20th Annual Octoberfest and 2nd Lonesome Dove Cook-off dedicated to the memory of James Evans, October 9th and 10th at the Rising Star City Park. We will be taking donations for the Rising Star Youth Football Association.
