RANGER- Marilyn Amelia “Mimi” (Henderson) Morgan, 56, of Ranger, passed away Thursday, March 19, 2015. Mimi was born November 13, 1958 in Ranger, Texas to Richard and Marilyn Henderson. She graduated from Ranger High School in 1977, attended Ranger Junior College, and received her Bachelor’s Degree in Education in 1981 from Howard Payne University. Mimi married Hank Morgan on June 13, 1998. During her career as an educator she taught at Lamesa and Ranger Elementary Schools for 23 years. She adored spending time with her children and students. She loved to travel with her husband. Mimi enjoyed to shop and laugh with her daughters and many friends. She loved watching the Texas Rangers, Dallas Cowboys, and TCU and enjoyed attending school and sporting events, always cheering on her beloved Ranger Bulldogs. She was an avid reader and was seldom without a book. Mimi was loved by all and will be remembered by her personality as big as her smile. She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Henderson, Uncle, Bill Miller and Aunts, Caroline Miller, Hellen Kimbro, and Elaine Wilson. She is survived by her mother, Marilyn Henderson, and her husband, Hank Morgan, both of Ranger; sons, Gage (Jaclyn) Grogan, of Evansville, IN, son of Rickey Grogan, Matthew (Crystal) Morgan of De Leon; daughters, Lee (Brandon) Hudson, daughter of Rickey Grogan, and Krysten (Jacob) Russell both of Stephenville; Granddaughters - Autumn, Breanna and Jocelynn Morgan and Aubrey Russell; Grandson - Matthew Morgan, Jr. and a host of friends and loved ones. Visitation was held on Monday, March 23, 2015 from 5 to 7 P.M. at the Edwards Funeral Home in Ranger. Memorial Services were held Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at Ranger First Baptist Church at 3 P.M.
