Johnny G. Martinez Obituary

RANGER – Johnny G. Martinez, 64, of Ranger, passed away Wednesday June 10, 2015 in Ranger. The family will receive friends at Edwards Funeral Home in Ranger Friday, 6~7:00 p.m. A Rosary will be said at 7:00 p.m. Mass will be at 3:00 p.m. Saturday at St. Rita’s Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery.

Johnny was born September 1, 1950 in Ranger to Santos A. Martinez and Candelaria (Gomez) Martinez. He married Margie Flores on September 3, 1971 in Big Spring. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Ft. Worth.

Survivors include his wife, Margie; 5 sons, Randy, Johnny Jr, Jeremy & Justin, Brandon; 2 daughters, Ashley and Andrea; 6 brothers, Felix, Santos, Candelario, Thomas, Robert Joe, and Rickey; 2 sisters, Josephina and Linda; 21 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and he loved his dog Chase.
