Arldene Lasater Obituary

Arldene Lasater, age 91of Carbon, passed away, Saturday, May 30, 2015 at the Eastland Memorial Hospital.

Graveside service will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, June 3, 2015 with Steven Clark officiating at the Murray Cemetery near Carbon.

Arldene was born on April 20, 1924 in Eastland County, Texas to John  Ambers Lasater and Trannie Mae (Norris) Lasater.  He served in the United States Army during World War II.  He married Margie Lena Falk on February 15, 1948 in Ranger, Texas.  He worked for the United States Postal Service for 45 years as a rural mail carrier.  He also farmed for many years and was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Margie Lasater of Carbon; three sons, Ronald Lasater and wife, Ottie of High Point, NC, Lynden Lasater and friend Tammy Berrier of Gorman and Terry Lasater and wife, Jeannette of Fort Worth; a sister, Rozel Caraway of Eastland; five grandchildren, Lauren and spouse, Jo, Keesha and spouse, John, Melissa and spouse, Cody, Joshua and Victoria and three great grandchildren, Jack, Bryce and Bristol.

He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers, George, John, Alvin.

Visitation will be 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
