County To Auction Surplus, Wooden Desks Outdoor Burn Ban Remains in Effect

Eastland County Commissioner’s and Judge Rex Fields held their last stated meeting of the year on December 22nd. Among the topics and proposals discussed, were finalizing items deemed salvage or scrap. MaintenanceSupervisor Joe Weaver discussed his proposed methods of removing surplus items, by putting them up for sale at Tim Elmore Auctions. Other items that could be sent to the scrap/recycling yard would be done so to make extra storage room. These items slated for recycling would consist of old metal desks and filing cabinets.
