Bulldog Baseball In Goldthwaite Tourney

The Ranger Bulldogs’ baseball team participated in the Goldthwaite tourney this past weekend in Goldthwaite. It was the Bulldogs first real ball action of the year. The first game pitted the Bulldogs against the host school. Ranger was able to put 6 runs on the board. However, the Eagles scored 8 more, winning the first game 14-6. The Bulldogs’ 2nd game was against the Comanche Indians junior varsity squad. In this game, the Bulldogs were able to score one more run than they did against Goldthwaite. But the Indians pushed one more across than Ranger, defeating the Bulldogs 8-7.
