Lady Mavs Begin District Play

With the non-district schedule finished, Coach Skinner and the Lady Mavericks began district play last week with games against the Lady Indians of Jim Ned and the Lady Buckaroos of Breckenridge. Last Tuesday, Oct 7, the Lady Mavericks opened their District 8 AAA schedule by traveling to Tuscola to take on the Lady Indians. Jim Ned was just too much for the Lady Mavs, winning in 3 sets. The closest set was set 1, with the Lady Indians winning by 3, 25-22. The score in set 2 was in favor of the home team, 25-18. And the third set also was won by the Lady Indians, 25-21.
