Ranger City Council Closes Air Show Drive

The Ranger City Council met on Monday to discuss several items including closing Airshow Drive, sending the city Animal Control Officer to Killeen for training, as well as to interview a candidate for the position of Chief of Police for the City of Ranger. The proposal to close Airshow Drive was brought forward by Jared Calvert who helps operate and maintain the Ranger Airfield. “We have had a problem with horses causing numerous holes along the turf runway.
