Mavs now 3-0, Ready for District

The Eastland Mavericks maintained their perfect record on the year and successfully defended their home field against the visiting Breckenridge Buckaroos on a steamy homecoming night. The Mavericks are now prepared for their first district contest on the road against the Millsap Bulldogs this coming Friday evening. Eastland looked sharp early coming off of their bye week, jumping out to a 27-7 lead at the half and would fend off a late rally by the Bucks to win 27-21. The win keeps their perfect record at home stretching back over the last four seasons.
