The Picketville Chapter of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas visited South Elementary School in Breckenridge, Friday, March 4th in honor of Texas Independence Week, and Texas History Month. Maretta Wulfjen (right) presented the students with replicas of items from the past that were used in early Texas days.
