Texas Adds 19,100 Jobs in June

The Texas economy added 19,100 seasonally-adjusted total nonfarm jobs in June for a total of 371,000 jobs added since June 2013. Texas’ seasonally adjusted unemployment rate held steady in June at 5.1 percent, down from 6.4 percent a year ago. Texas’ unemployment rate remained below the nation’s June unemployment rate of 6.1 percent.
